Young Mums Group
The Young Mums Group (YMG) provides homeless and at-risk pregnant and/or parenting mothers aged 15-25 years, and their accompanying children. We provide the opportunity to participate in creative activities in a positive and supportive environment.
We also provide an opportunity for education by accessing services such as Family Planning, mental health and nutrition to run informative and non-judgemental sessions to support the mums that attend the group. YMG aims to support the growth of positive friendships and connectedness in what can be a very socially isolating time. Recently, the group have created jewellery, painted canvases and put together scrapbooks.
