Young Mums Group
The Young Mums Group (YMG) provides a safe social space and opportunities for pregnant and/or parenting mothers aged 15-25 years, to participate in creative activities in a positive and supportive environment.
The group runs on Wednesdays throughout the school term facilitated by a youth support work and student at a local community centre in Box Hill South next to a park and playground.
We also provide an opportunity for education through mini workshops such as mental health, nutrition & budgeting to run informative and non-judgemental sessions to support the mums that attend the group. YMG aims to support the growth of positive friendships and community connection in what can be a very socially isolating time. FAN provides addition support for those experiencing or at risk of Homelessness.
